The Chief Executive Officer of Citadel Securities, Dr. Peng Zhao, is set to deliver a lecture this week on AI, Machine Learning and Economy as part of the MBZUAI Executive Program. One of the early architects of Citadel Securities, Zhao joined the firm as a senior quantitative researcher before becoming CEO in 2017.

Jordan—a celebrated academic and thought leader—is one of 16 eminent faculty in artificial intelligence and machine learning to be featured as part of the program.

Participants from the MBZUAI Executive Program gathered on Saturday, November 6, for a day of engaging activities designed to build bridges between participants and facilitate collaboration. Around 30 participants and leaders from MBZUAI took part in planned activities designed to open essential dialogue and begin the process of building an AI community.

The next-generation Fitbit strapped around the patient’s wrist flags the first warning sign. It is 2030, and the elderly UAE resident’s heart rate is low; an electronic wearable also identifies that the man—who lives alone—is slumped on his side and hasn’t moved for an hour. Separate devices pick up slight abnormalities in his blood-sugar levels, and recognize that he has not opened his refrigerator all day. This sets even more alarm bells ringing.
