The Office of Public Affairs and Alumni Relations (PAAR) oversees the university’s non-academic mission, which outreaches the broader community, government agencies and industrial partners. PAAR’s role is vital to the institution's success. Its function is to conduct, promote, and facilitate activities and events in a two-way dialogue between the institution, its stakeholders, and the surrounding community with the aim of emphasizing the university's role with its stakeholders and its ecosystem.
Our primary goals are to serve our students, faculty, and researchers and to support the UAE's vision for AI. Our plans and operations are adaptable to the university dynamics based on a better understanding of our stakeholders' expectations and needs. We facilitate maintaining external alliances and ties strategically significant for the institution to support its vision and mission as a knowledgeable and influential institution.
Alumni relations is focused on building and maintaining relationships with alums who are former students of the institution. The department organizes events, such as alum gatherings and reunions, to bring alumni together and strengthen their connection to the institute. Alumni relations also provides support and resources to alumni, such as career services and networking opportunities.
Our community engagement activities aim to strengthen the relationship between the main core business of the university, the public sector, and industrial institutions by developing partnerships in managing artificial intelligence applications in different fields of research projects, consultative projects, and capacity development.
