Turing award winner brings AI expertise to UAE

Professor of Computer Science and Robotics at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), Raj Reddy, spoke recently as part of the MBZUAI Executive Program. Reddy, a Turing Award laureate, served as the founding Director of the Robotics Institute and as the Dean of the School of Computer Science at CMU. He has also served as the President of the American Association for Artificial Intelligence and is an inaugural IEEE Intelligent Systems’ AI Hall of Fame inductee.

Music, dance and food brought together MBZUAI’s multicultural student body to celebrate International Day 2021 on November 17 at the Masdar City campus. The colorful and lively event featured country pavilions, performances, and a buffet of international cuisine.
