The Educational Affairs team support students and researchers at all points through the student journey from onboarding, through daily life on campus, supporting the process of finding internships and then future job opportunities for our graduates.
The University provides a range of support services and dedicated student facilities including IT support, health services and insurance, prayer rooms, dining facilities and student lounges.
The Educational Affairs team leads efforts to support students and alumni who will contribute locally and globally by way of their AI expertise, by striving for excellence and working collaboratively to support students and researchers. The team takes a student-centered approach to foster a globally aware and enriched campus community environment.

Onboarding and Orientation
The Educational Affairs team organizes a comprehensive orientation program to support your transition to studying at MBZUAI and to welcome international students to the UAE. We also support with the visa application process and flight tickets. Please contact us for any assistance.

Career Services and Internships
The career services and internships team provides students with access to AI related internship and employment opportunities by offering a high-quality personalized service. Students are assisted in developing, evaluating, and implementing education, career, internship and employment decisions and plans.

The Educational Affairs team are dedicated to supporting your physical and mental wellbeing during your studies. We provide a range of wellbeing activities and information, advice and support for students to help you remain healthy and well. We also provide a free, confidential counselling service for students. Residential Life
The Educational Affairs team is also responsible for ensuring that you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay while you reside in University accommodation. Many details about what you can expect from the University residences, and the policies and procedures associated with residing on-campus can be found in the University Housing Manual available here. Campus Life
The Campus Life team provide multi-faceted support to students at the University. Their work includes providing support for all aspects of onboarding including flights, visas and arrivals process and organizing orientation programs for new students on campus. They also ensure that a lively campus community exists for students and researchers and managing an appropriate program of extra-curricular activities to enrich and enhance academic life on campus. They oversee student representation and support the Graduate Student Council and all Clubs and Societies in their activities. In addition, they provide academic advising services and skills support to students to ensure academic success, and support students of determination to ensure they are afforded equal opportunities.
