The MBZUAI campus provides a wide range of purpose-built facilities including student accommodation, laboratories, library, a knowledge center, an auditorium, canteen, a multipurpose hall with an indoor sports facility, sizeable male and female gyms, and adjacent pool.

MBZUAI’s Library provides a wealth of printed and electronic resources and services to support our students, faculty, and staff’s academic, research, and professional needs. Resources and collections are frequently updated to ensure students gain access to up-to-date literature. The Library serves MBZUAI students, current faculty and staff, researchers, alumni, visiting researchers, and approved guests.
The Library’s strength is its specialized electronic collections representing core resources and publishers in the interdisciplinary field of artificial intelligence (AI).
The Library collects and subscribes to numerous resources including:
- Electronic resources (including bibliographic and full-text content)
- Physical collections (books, magazines, etc.)
- MBZUAI-affiliated research output through iRep, the digital repository.
- A course reserve which provides shared access to course materials
Students can borrow and return books using the self-checkin/out machine. Our services are provided online through the Library website, and help is available in person, through a live chat or email inquiries. Document delivery service is available if the item needed is unavailable through the Library collection.
The Library provides quiet study spaces and printing/scanning facilities. Access to electronic resources through the Library website is available 24/7, on and off campus.
Student Accommodation

Student accommodation is within walking distance of the laboratories and main MBZUAI buildings. Full-time students on a scholarship are provided accommodation. The residences at MBZUAI 1A is split into four blocks, which are divided into male and female. Each male and female apartment has a bedroom, kitchen, toilet and shower, living/dining, and study area. Some of the apartments comprise more than one bedroom. All apartments have private balconies.
There is a canteen onsite where breakfast, lunch and dinner can be purchased. Additionally, a number of retail outlets including restaurants and cafés are located on campus. Parking is available in the north parking lot.

Computer Labs

MBZUAI has the most advanced AI labs in the region, equipped with the best-in-class technologies, including state-of-the-art computing labs with access to nearly 1000 NVidia DGX-1/2 GPU servers (i.e. one of the largest in the world). The labs and high-powered computers (HPCs) represent a key enabler for MBZUAI learning and knowledge development. They are available for faculty, students, and researchers to support both teaching and research needs in terms of computing resources.
Recreational Facilities

Students are encouraged to lead an active lifestyle on campus with a multipurpose hall consisting of an indoor sports facility, sizeable male and female gyms, billiards tables, and foosball. Equipment for sports such as basketball, badminton, and table tennis are available. There is an adjacent pool which has a schedule of days/timings for both male and female use. Students and staff should follow the pool rules at all times.

The MBZUAI’s Visitors Center has played host to a number of international delegations from around the world including presidents, ministers, industry leaders, academic peers and revered artificial intelligence (AI) experts. It is a place where the University welcomes guests with open arms with the aim to unleash the full potential of AI on the world.

A First Aid Clinic is located on campus in the Solar residential building, podium level. The facility offers 24/7 nursing services by three dedicated professionals. All students, faculty, staff, visitors, and service providers can use the first aid stations for free. MBZUAI also provides each student with health insurance during their academic journey, which covers them at select off-campus medical providers.
