MBZUAI has partnered with Malaria No More and Reaching the Last Mile, a portfolio of global health initiatives and programs funded by the philanthropy of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, to free humanity from malaria once and for all.

AI is a powerful tool for researchers and decision-makers to make significant change in developing strategies towards malaria eradication. By gaining access and insight into vast amounts of data through machine learning such as the pathology and transmission of malaria and its environmental and climate context, we can explore solutions like never before, providing fresh hope for solving real-world issues.

AI allows for the investigation and analysis of tremendous amounts of satellite and atmospheric data in real-time, helping us to predict trends and guide the teams on the ground to forecast, identify risks and act against this disease.
