Ras Al Khaimah Ruler visits MBZUAI

H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, visited MBZUAI on Friday, February 18, 2022. His Highness was accompanied by a high-level delegation of pioneers and specialists in science, technology, and artificial intelligence, at the university’s campus in Masdar City, Abu Dhabi.

The delegation was received by MBUZAI President, Professor Eric Xing; Peng Xiao, CEO of G42 and member of the MBZUAI Board of Trustees; MBZUAI Provost, Professor Fakhri Karray; as well as university senior management and faculty. The visit included a tour of the university’s campus, showcasing its most prominent projects and highlighting the milestones achieved to date. The delegation also discussed possible avenues for future cooperation.

Established in October 2019, MBZUAI, the world’s first graduate-level, research-based artificial intelligence university, supports the UAE Strategy for Artificial Intelligence by enabling students, government, and businesses to develop and harness AI applications for sustainable prosperity.
