The MBZUAI Pilot Mentoring Program connects our graduating Ph.D. and Master’s students (Class of 2025) with accomplished alumni to bridge the gap between academia and industry. This three-month initiative provides mentorship in career planning, professional development, and industry navigation.

1. Flexible Communication
• Sessions are conducted virtually or in person based on preference.
• Minimum: One meeting per month.
2. Structured Framework
• Clear goals are set collaboratively by mentees and mentors.
• Focused on actionable career development and skill-building.
3. Confidentiality and Respect
• All discussions are confidential to ensure trust.
• Both parties commit to a respectful and professional relationship.
1. Apply: Submit your application to join as a mentor or mentee.
2. Match: Alumni Relations will match mentees with mentors based on interests and expertise.
3. Engage: Begin your mentorship journey with regular check-ins and discussions.
4. Feedback: Share your experience at the end to help refine future programs.

• Alumni Relations will provide guidance throughout the program.

• Mentees are encouraged to take the lead in scheduling meetings and driving the agenda.
• Mentors should provide guidance but not be expected to provide job placements or internships.
• Both parties are expected to maintain a respectful and professional relationship throughout the program.
