MBZUAI Hosts Senior Delegation from Estonia

Her Excellency Mrs. Birgit Lao, Ambassador-at-large for Education at the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Estonia and an accompanying delegation of executives and officials visited the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI). The delegation was hosted by senior representatives from MBZUAI and learned about the University’s vision for using AI as a transformative tool for positive progress. They also discussed the UAE’s AI ecosystem, as well as the possibility of partnerships and collaborations in the future.

The Estonian delegation also included Mrs. Annely Allik, Head of Department of Research Communication at the Estonian Research Council, Mrs. Liisa Ojaveer, Adviser at the EU and International Cooperation and the Estonian Ministry of Education and Research, Dr. Siret Rutiku, Head of Department of Research Funding at the Estonian Research Council, Mrs. Kadri Tuisk, Founder and CEO of Clanbeat, Mr. Priit Kongo, General Manager of Net Group and Founder of Schoolaby, and Mrs. Inga Kõue, EdTech Sector Project Lead of Startup Estonia, KredEx Foundation
