At the 34th annual Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR 2022) to take place in New Orleans, Louisiana, MBZUAI faculty and students will present 31 papers, including 6 oral presentations. For the conference a total of 2,063 papers will be published out of 8,161 submissions, with 342 of them selected for oral presentation.

MBZUAI ranks top 30 globally in AI, CV, ML and NLP

In just a short, two-year time span since the university was founded, MBZUAI has been ranked 127 globally among institutions that conduct research in computer science including AI, systems, theory, and "interdisciplinary" areas such as robotics, computer graphics, visualization, and more. The ranking places MBZUAI alongside institutions such as Notre Dame, the University of Liverpool, the Weizmann Institute of Science, Osaka University, Ecole Normale Supérieure and other prestigious schools.
