Rwanda’s Minister of ICT and Innovation meets with MBZUAI

The Honorable Paula Ingabire, Minister of Information Communication Technology and Innovation, and His Excellency Emmanuel Hategeka, Ambassador of the Republic of Rwanda to the UAE met with Professor Ling Shao, MBZUAI Executive Vice President and Provost, and Reem Al Orfali, MBZUAI Director of Student Affairs, to learn more about Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI), the first graduate-level, research-based artificial intelligence (AI) university in the world world’s first graduate level.

The discussions highlighted the importance of AI in Rwanda, including how data sciences and AI are already applied to enhance education.
