MBZUAI hosts senior delegation from Singapore

His Excellency Kamal R Vaswani, Ambassador of the Republic of Singapore to the UAE, led a delegation of officials from Singapore during a visit to the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI), the world’s first graduate-level, research-based artificial intelligence (AI) university. Hosted by senior representatives from the University, the delegation toured the Masdar City campus and learnt about MBZUAI’s vision for using AI as a transformative tool for positive progress. They also discussed the UAE’s AI ecosystem, as well as the possibility of partnerships and collaborations in the future.

The Singaporean delegation also included Ms. Huldah Chin, Assistant Director, Ministry of Trade and Industry, and Mr. Vinod Ravi, First Secretary – Political.

Dr. Behjat Al Yousuf, MBZUAI Executive Vice President for Outreach and Engagement, hosted the delegation, joined by Professor Ling Shao, Executive Vice President and Provost, Reem Al Orfali, Director of Student Affairs, and Dr. Hosni Ghedira, Director of Engagement Services.
