I will first present the main problematics of precision medicine and the questions they raise for artificial intelligence. I will then present some algorithms that we have proposed with my co-authors to develop decision support tools in precision medicine.
Agathe Guilloux is a professor in Data Science at Evry Paris Saclay University. She is the head of the mathematics laboratory of Evry Paris Saclay University (Paris area, France). She is also heading the Master’s in Data Science with applications in health and finance of Paris Saclay University. She received her Ph.D. degree and two M.Sc. (mathematical statistics, and biostatistics and epidemiology) from Rennes 1 University and ENSAI. She was appointed as assistant Professor, then as associate professor at Sorbonne University in 2005 and 2010. She then joined Evry Paris University as a full professor in 2016. Her research focuses on statistics and machine learning, with applications in health (clinical datasets and public health). A significant part of her work is dedicated to large observational longitudinal data (especially electronic health records). Both theoretical and applied aspects of her research have been published in top ranked applied mathematical, biostatistical or clinical journals.
