MBZUAI hosted a delegation from Khalifa University (KU) on Tuesday, February 1, 2022. MBZUAI President, Professor Eric Xing, and Provost, Professor Fakhri Karray, led the two universities in discussions on the importance of collaboration, and how recruitment and research opportunities might be enhanced into the future.
KU delegates included Deputy CEO of Mubadala Group and Chief Corporate and Human Resources Office Acting President (KU), H. E. Homaid Al Shimmari, Executive Vice President Office Dr. Arif Al Hammadi, Senior Vice President in Research and Development Dr. Steven Wesley Griffiths, Senior Vice President in Academic and Student Services Dr. Ahmed Al Shoaibi, Senior Vice President of Support Services Dr. Ebrahim Al-Hajri, among others.
“There are many interdependencies between the two universities, and MBZUAI looks forward to further collaborative projects and hopefully welcoming post-graduate students to further their studies in the field of artificial intelligence,” Xing said.
Xing thanked delegates for their time and presented them with a gift of appreciation from the MBZUAI team.
